Ada County is truly a vibrant and dynamic community that embodies the spirit of growth and resilience. As I take a moment to reflect on my campaign journey, I am filled with immense gratitude for the unwavering support and trust you all placed in me throughout this process. I didn’t really know what to expect when stepping into the role of a first-time candidate, and while the results of the election were certainly disappointing, the meaningful connections I made with so many of you are invaluable treasures that I will carry with me. Your belief in a message rooted in compassion and progress motivated me every single step of the way, and I felt deeply honored to represent our collective vision for a better path forward in our community. I am eternally grateful to my incredible county running mates - Jonathan Lashley and Johnathan Baldauf - who not only demonstrated their unwavering commitment to public service but became true friends, supporters, and allies throughout this journey. A heartfelt thank you also goes to Nic and the talented team at 208 Strategies for their boundless creativity and dedication, always going above and beyond to engage with voters and amplify our message. To my Mother and my Fiancé, your unwavering support and love have been the bedrock of this endeavor, providing me with the strength to carry on. Thank you for helping me carry my dream for me. If my life journey has taught me anything at all, it’s that true progress is hard earned and often requires patience and perseverance. The path forward may be long and arduous, but together, we can face it with strength and collective determination. Stay strong, stay safe, and please, take care of yourselves and each other.
